Born Kent, CT 6 Apr 1752 son of Moses Rowley (1-5.001). He probably moved with his parents (after 1755) to Richmond, Berkshire Co., MA where his father died after 1773. (Also see biographies of brothers: Thomas, Timothy, Aaron, Reuben, Daniel, and David) He was the twin of Moses.

1800 Census: Franklin, Delaware, NY (next to twin brother Moses Rowley) showing 11001 22001

Daniel was admitted to the Baptist Church of Christ, Franklin, Delaware, NY June 28, 1801, then 'excluded' 

No record of death

Known children :

  1. Charles, born circa 1775, joined the church April 15, 1807 and was dismissed by letter with Hannah Rowly; no further record
  2. Mary, born circa 1783, died 1832
  3. Moses, born circa 1784 NY, joined in fellowship May 11, 1807 then excluded, died after 1860, married Mercy [?]
  4. Polly (or Molly), born circa 1785, joined the church April 15, 1807 then excluded; married [?] Caulfield
  5. Olive, born circa 1790, joined the church April 15, 1807 then excluded; married David Allen
  6. Lucinda, born circa 1795, married Abraham Johnson
  7. Josiah, born 21 Mar 1800 Delaware Co., NY, died 17 Dec 1882 Troupsburg, NY (buried Austinburg, PA), married (1) Lucy [?] and (2) Minerva Bard
