Born Kent, CT 6 Apr 1752 son of Moses Rowley (1-5.001). He probably moved with his parents (after 1755) to Richmond, Berkshire Co., MA where his father died after 1773. (Also see biographies of brothers: Thomas, Timothy, Aaron, Reuben, Daniel, and David) He was the twin of Moses.
